Day 6-8: Workflow and Responsibilities

  1. Design Schedule Coverage

    • Understand the team’s time zone distribution and which designer is available during specific times of the day.

    • Review schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage and identify primary contacts for each time slot.

  2. Design Queues & Priorities

    • Learn that each designer owns a specific design service but is cross-trained to support others during out-of-office (OOO) periods.

    • Understand prioritization criteria for design tasks.

    • Practice managing queues with mock tickets, including OOO handoffs.

  3. Hands-On Practice

    • Start working on low-complexity design tickets under Ryan’s supervision.

    • Apply learnings from the knowledge base and templates.


Day 9-10: Training and Integration Schedule Onboarded Training with Team Members (1-Hour Sessions Each):

  1. Designers:

    • Stefan: Training on 0. Vectorized Logos and 4.0. Apparel Collection via eCom (1 hour).

    • Emman: Training on 2. Team Store (1 hour).

    • Elena: Training on 3. Uniforms and grading techniques (1 hour).

    • Ryan (Design Lead): Training on 4.1. Custom Apparel Collection via Design, 5. Signature Pro Hat, 6. Signature Duffle Bag, 9. Signature Event Branding (1 hour).

    • E.A. (Senior Designer): Final review of training, covering missed topics and answering questions (1 hour).

  2. Cross-Functional Team:

    • Alex (CX): Training on Design Ticket Management (1 hour).

    • Patty (eCom Lead): eCommerce design requirements (1 hour).

    • Kacy, Lex, Sydney (Account Managers): Client communication and expectation setting (1 hour, combined session).

    • Kelcy (Ops): Operational workflows and logistics (1 hour).
