How Do We Achieve A 2-Hour Turnaround?

Effective as of Apr 22, 2024

Last updated: Apr 22, 2024

The way our designer's time zones are set up, we now have three dedicated team designers in 3 shifts that all overlap.

We have a 12-hour advantage with Emman, so we have to think about this differently and assign tomorrow’s task tonight instead of tomorrow morning. Otherwise, we will lose the 12-hour advantage.

Designer 1 = Emman
Morning Shift Coverage (7 pm Tonight - noon Tomorrow)
Designer 2 = Luka
Night Shift Coverage (7 am Tomorrow - 4 pm Tomorrow)

Designer 3 = Full-Time Designer or Mark
Overnight Shift Coverage (8 am Today - 6 pm Today)

Designer 4 = E.A. (Only used for clearing out backlog when needed)
Overnight Shift Coverage (8 am Today - 6 pm Today)

If we know what is coming and always assign (by Kelso & Alex) the more critical tasks before we sign off, we set up our whole team to win and have enough time to get everything done by the time we sign back the next day.

Anything during the “Day / Overnight Coverage” during our regular working Business Hours of 8 am - 5 pm

When all tasks are completed, Designers 2 & 3 should be able to complete revisions and other daily design responsibilities.

*If designers 2 & 3 can’t successfully achieve the 2-hour turnaround and "Designer 4" is needed, we look to find another designer.
