Signature Out-of-Office Procedure

PTO Policy

  • If you're unwell or taking time off, please communicate BEFORE 8 AM Eastern Time to (Kelcy), kelcy@signaturelocker.com. Include duration of expected time out. 
  • (Kelcy) will update the shared OOO Google Calendar to notify the team of anyone being out of the office.
  • If you will be OOO for more than ½ of a day, this must be communicated & on the OOO team calendar.
  • If you will be OOO or unavailable during the day for personal reasons less than ½ of a day (ie: appointments, picking up kids from school, etc), this MUST be on YOUR individual calendar and noted appropriately (ie: appointment/unavailable/OOO).
  • The same procedure should be followed for vacation, personal days, or business trips, with the team member providing advance notice whenever possible. If you're planning a vacation that you will be OOO 1 week or more this HAS to be communicated to (Kelcy) at least 1 month in advance, along with your direct supervisor. No more than 8 consecutive days in a row can be used at a time.
  • Each team member is responsible for activating their own OOO email notification -- be sure it is up to date! Place an "emergency contact" into your email message should there be issues that cannot wait until your return, (please use the templated email below as a guide).
  • For those with daily, essential tasks, please plan a backup for someone to cover those essential duties. Training may be needed, so please work with your supervisor for assistance so others are not left scrambling. 
  • Each team member is responsible for canceling their own meetings and rescheduling those that they are the owner of. If unwell, and unable to handle this task, please reach out to (Kelcy) to assist.

 



Maternity/Paternity Policy

  • Up to 12 weeks of Maternity Leave will be offered, 8 weeks paid, and 4 weeks unpaid.

  • Up to 12 weeks of Paternity Leave will be offered, 2 weeks paid, and 10 weeks unpaid.

  • If you WANT to work a few hours a day during this 12 week period you are welcome to do so, this will just need to be coordinated with your manager.

  • All details of maternity/paternity leave need to be worked out at least 4 weeks in advance of the baby's due date with your manager. This will ensure that your leave will be as smooth as possible.

  • During maternity/paternity leave, all health insurance coverage will continue through Signature Athletics (if you are a policy holder with the company).

  • When returning to work, your same job or an equivalent job with the same salary and benefits will be offered at time of return.

  • This policy is only offered to full-time salaried employees of Signature Athletics.
