It highlights key quality-control standards, including keeping the waistband aligned with the original model, updating care instructions accurately, and setting up panels and liners correctly.


STEP-by-STep guide

1. Confirm the correct versioning and folder structure 0:24

  • If this is the final file, create a V1 folder.
  • Copy the working file into that folder and rename it to 1.0.
  • Verify that this is the version that will be checked.
  • The transcript notes that one file is already set up this way with V1.0 and liners included.

2. Make sure the waistband and care instructions stay consistent 1:12

  • Check whether the waistband is turned on.
  • If the original model includes the waistband, keep it on for consistency.

16. Replace the remaining size symbols with the correct versions 50:30

  • Verify that the replacement pieces match the correct size and do not carry unwanted strokes.
  • Clean up any straggler symbols after the swap.

  • Compare the size pieces to make sure the dimensions are actually different where expected.
  • Confirm whether a piece is supposed to be longer or shorter before changing it.
  • Remove any unwanted black strokes from the copied pieces.
